Review of minutes shows in 2008: School decides recipients. Criteria are graduating senior attending 2-4 yr vocational/college in a business related major, and have shown academic improvement. Chamber added last year the essay writing and a list of interests which would be forwarded to chamber once winner decided by school.

- Main Street Funding Grant: all paperwork has been submitted to Wayne County Planning. 13 Property owners participated and totals were well over the $200,000 benchmark. Winners are announced in late summer, early fall. Seminar/workshop is being planned to train contractors for doing estimates and work.
