Members present: Don O’Neil, David Englert, Mary Ann Riker, Susan Biliecki, chairperson, Joan Stell, Teresa Maioli, recording secretary
Guests: Kelley Allen, Village of Sodus Mayor
Susan called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.
Mary Ann Riker motioned to accept the November 16, 2010 meeting minutes as is,
seconded, by Joan Stell. All aye, motion carried.
Susan could not find anything as far as getting applications to Board members via email.
The purpose is to scan the application and then e-mail to members so they can have a copy ahead of the meeting. This is a practice we would like to adopt.
A discussion came up about the economic needs of the Village of Sodus. Don feels we are below average. There is a guide for economic development in Wayne County. The purpose is to be used as a guide to perspective companies whom would like to possibly come to Wayne County to locate their business.
Kelley would like to utilize the Sodus Chamber of Commerce website and see a listing of available properties for sale and rental, so if a perspective company looks at the website it may consider the area.
This all led to a discussion about the Village of Sodus Planning Board starting their own website, David will look into the possibility and getting it started.
Mary Ann will start to contact realtors to compile a list of available properties for sale and rent.
Joan motioned to close the regular meeting, seconded by Mary Ann.
All aye, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.
