Cracker Box Palace at Historic Alasa Farms is a no-kill farm animal shelter that provides rescue services to abused or neglected farm animals in Wayne County, NY and surrounding areas. Alasa Farms is listed on the National registry of Historic Places, with over 200 years of history. We partner with Genesee Land Trust and the NYS DEC to provide sustainable environmental conservation to our land. With over 627 acres, 180 rescued farm animals and 200 years of history, Cracker Box Palace is a unique place to experience.

The Sodus Council of Churches is comprised of the following Churches – United Christian Fellowship Church in Wallington, Church of God, First Reformed Church, First United Presbyterian Church, St. John's Episcopal Church, St. Maximilian Parish /Church of the Epiphany, United Methodist Church of Sodus Point and the United Third Methodist Church of Sodus. During the Lenten season, we sponsor the Lenten breakfasts, luncheons, Women's World Day of Prayer and the Wednesday morning Lenten Bible studies. Together we offer an ecumenical service on Good Friday with a Procession of the Cross down Main St from the village parking lot to the Methodist Church where we share a Lenten service of prayer, song and meditation. Our Lenten season comes to a close with a 6 a.m. Sunrise Service on Green's Hill on Easter Sunday morning. Throughout the year some of our special programs include the: Senior Student Recognition Award, Sodus Crop Hunger Walk, and Summer Vacation Bible School, at the Presbyterian Church in Sodus. We also offer support to the: Sodus Point Methodist Church Food Pantry and the Sodus Community Christmas Sharing Program. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. (No meetings in April, July and August)

Historic cobblestone one-room school house built in 1826 and operated by the school district until 1950. Today, hundreds of students from all over the area visit and experience "a day in a country school" complete with an old fashioned water pump in the side yard and outhouse in the back. The schoolhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and operated by the Wallington Community Center Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit..
