General Membership Meeting 3/2/23

Meeting called at 6: at Imprint Coffee Mill Street Location.   In attendance: Chris, Kari, Jim and Jane Hopkins, Karen Rawden, David Englert, John and Sandy Hopkins, Jeanie Sedor, Michele Kerr, Sandi Hamilton, Alexandria Burnett, Christina Kariuk, Lynn Anne and Mark Batzold, Jamie Yarrow, Pamela and Steve Heald, Kate and Chcrissie Pobol -Iilum, MyLinn and Scott Johnson, <ike Scoville, Lara Duckett, Tom VanKouwenberg, Amanda B., Cindy Sawdey, Alice Bill, Sandy and Glen Manktelow and Ellen Zuraski.

Treasurers report was read and accepted.

Harvest Fest

New banners are being ordered, donated by The Country Hardware and Imprint Coffee.

Much Love has joined with the Harvest Fest.  Event will run from 5:00pm until 9:00 pm.  There will be food, entertainment, and vendors.  HF Vendors will be encouraged to stay after the Harvest fest at 4:00pm, additional fee not discussed. However Main Street will be open at 5:00pm

Vendor fees for craft and food vendors will be $45.00

Historical Society New

Historical Society Meeting – April 16th

June 16th dedication of historical marker in Joy

Sold 118 books sold to

April 11, 200 Birthday for Wayne County.  Ceremony at 11:00 am at the County Courthouse.  Refreshments to follow in the Lyons Community Center

Chamber Web Site

Chamber will be meeting via Zoom with Mike Burke of Lil’ Redhead Studios to discuss building a new site.

Other News:  Rotary will be selling raffle tickets to win a Yeti cooler.  Only 200 being sold.  See a member for tickets or get at Reliant Community Credit Union.

May 6th meeting to be held at the Country Hardware on Main Street. Please call or e-mail chamber if you plan to attend.

Treavor and Christina Leach gave a tour and spoke of their new facility for Imprint Coffee.  The Mill Street facility will be managed by Treavor’s mother.  Along with great coffee products their will be deli sandwiches.  Plenty of room to sit and spend time with friends or have meetings and get togethers in their upstairs area. Opening will be soon.
