The Sodus Bay Historical Society operates a local history museum in the Sodus Bay Lighthouse, which was built in 1870. Exhibitions include lighthouse tools, Fresnel lenses, maritime artifacts, ship models, railroads and trolleys, and a commemoration of the War of 1812 Battle of Sodus Point. Visitors can climb the lighthouse tower, enjoy beautiful gardens, and shop for unique gifts. The grounds are available for weddings. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday (and Monday holidays), from May 15 through October 15. Hours: May: 12-5 p.m.; June, July, August: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; September, October: 12-5 p.m.

Sunshine Radio was family founded in Toledo, OH in 1926. We opened additionally in 1972 as SunRad (Sunshine Radio abbreviated) in Sodus, NY. The Toledo, OH location was closed by Ron Seppeler in 1980. The year 2020 marks 94 years of business operation.
